Daniel A. Bedell’s interest in photography was sparked at the age of 8, when his grandmother gave him his first camera.  A native New Yorker, Dan began photographing close to home, but soon developed a love for travel and adventure. His passion for capturing the natural world in print has since carried him to all seven continents. 

Dan’s images have been seen in numerous publications, including works published by National Geographic, The World Wildlife Federation, and Ranger Rick.  His images are presented in their true form, without the aid of computer manipulation.

In 1995 Dan moved from New York to Colorado, where he now lives with his wife, Erin.  Colorado is a natural fit for Dan’s love of the outdoors and his active nature.  He also owns and operates New Concept Photography, an acclaimed portrait and wedding studio in Colorado Springs.
